WSOP 2008 Day 9 Updates

Event #7 a $2,000 No Limit Texas Holdem tournament was won by Matt Keikoan, who earned $550,601 and the bracelet for taking down the event. Second place finisher Shannon Shorr took home $349,141.

Event #8 The $10,000 World Championship Mixed event was won by Anthony Riveria, who took home $483,688 with the Bracelet. Second place went to James Mackey worth $297,792. As a side note, Eli Ezra took 5th, and Sammy Farha 6th.

Event #9, is the No Limit Texas Holdem Six Handed event is down to the final 6, with play resuming today at 2PM to determine the winner. The players with their stacks are:
John Conkright - 1,100,000
Michiel Brummelhuis - 740,000
Ralph "Rep" Porter - 660,000
Nathan Templeton - 535,000
Anatoly Shilyuk - 350,000
Devin Porter - 375,000

Event #10, a $2,500 Omaha/seven-card stud eight-or-better event is down to the final 8, with play resuming today at 4PM. The players and their stacks look like this:

Tom Chambers - 235,000

Event #11, a $5000 No Limit Texas Holdem Shootout event ended play with the final 36 ( of 360) set to resume play today. All remaining players are in the money, and guaranteed at least $16K+

Event #12, a $1500 Limit Texas Holdem event drew to a close for the day with 181 players still in the hunt, out of a starting 880. Play resumes today.....

Event #13, a $2500 No Limit Texas Holdem event begins play today...

Event #14, the $10,000 World Championship Seven Card Stud event also gets underway today.
