WSOP 2008 Day 28 Updates

Event 40, a $2500 Limit 2-7 Triple Draw Low Ball event was won by John Phan who took home his second bracelet and $151,896. Second place went to Shun Uchida, who earned $95,795.

Event #41, a $1500 Mixed Texas Holdem event was won by Frank Gary, who took the bracelet, and first place monies worth $219,217. Taking down second place was Jonathan Tamayo, worth $140,093.

Event #42, the $1000 Seniors No Limit Texas Holdem World Championship is down to the final table. The remaining players are:

Event #43, a $1500 Pot Limit Omaha High-Low Split 8 or better event began play with 720 entrants, and they are down to the final table that will play today. The remaining players are:

Event #44, a $1000 No Limit Texas Holdem with Rebuys event began play with 879 entries, and they played down to 116. Play will resume today at 2PM.

Event #45, the $50,000 World Championship H.O.R.S.E event drew 148 players, with only 8 eliminations on the first day of play! Play will resume today at 3PM, with Holdem, and there are a TON of stars still in the hunt for this VERY prestigous event.

Event #46, a $5000 No Limit Texas Holdem Six Handed event is set to kick off today at Noon.

Event #46, a $1500 Seven Card Stud High-Low event will begin play today at 5PM
