July 01, 20072007 WSOP Event #45 & #46 ResultsEvent #45, a $5000 No Limit Texas Holdem Six Handed tournament was won by Bill Edler, for his first bracelet, and $904,672! Event #46, a $1000 Seven Card Stud High-Low 8/OB tournament was won by Tom Schneider, defeating Hoyt Verner to win his second bracelet, and $147,713. Event #47, a $2000 No Limit Texas Holdem tournament is down to the final table of 9. The remaining players with their chip counts are: Event #48 a $1000 2-7 Triple Draw Lowball ( limit ) WITH rebuys tournament is down to the final table of 6. Andy Bloch went out 7th.... those remaining, and their stacks are: Event #49, a $1500 No Limit Texas Holdem tournament drew HUGE numbers as expected! There were 3,151 entries, making this the third largest WSOP field to date. Firse will be worth $722,914, and 324th 2,667! Play was halted with 218 still in the field, and will resume today towards the final table. Today, Event #50, the $10,000 World Championship Pot-Limit Omaha tournament will get underway, as will Event $51, a $1000 S.H.O.E tournament.
