WSOP 2007 Event #4 and #5 Results

Event #4, the $1500 Pot Limit Texas Holdem event, came down to a showdown between Mike Spegal, and Gavin Smith. Spegal eventually won this showdown, taking home the bracelet and the first place money worth $252,290. Smith earned $155,645 for second!

Event #5, the $5000 Omaha/Seven Card STud High/low 8/OB event was won by Tom Schneider. Schneider had previously made two other final tables, and was able to secure his bracelet over a VERY impressive final table. Ed Tonnellier took second, Annie Duke third, and Chris Ferguson was eliminated in 4th place .

Event #6, the $1500 Pot Limit Texas Holdem Poker event, is down to the final table of 9. The play will resume today, with the final players being: Gary Styczynski, James Gorham, Hansu Chu, Soheil Shamseddin, James Holland, Varouzhan Gumroyan, Michael Banks, Dariush Imani and Peter O'Donnell.

Event #7, the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha w/multiple Rebuys, is down to the final table, and it's full of top pros! This event will pay $825,956 for first, due to the multiple rebuys involved. The remaining players for todays final will be: Humberto Brenes, John Juanda, Larry Jonsson , Minh Ly, Burt Boutin, Robin Keston, Sirous Jamshidi, David "Devilfish" Ulliot, and Eric Cajelais.

Event #8, a $1,000 No Limit Texas Holdem with rebuys event, started off with 844 players, and is down to 81 when play was stopped. All remaining players are in the money!

Event #9, a $1,500 Omaha High Low 8/OB event started off with 690 players, and is down under 200, with play stopping for the night.

Today two more events kick off!
#10 is a $2000 No Limit Texas Holdem Tourament
#11 is the $5000 World Championship Seven Card Stud event!
