2007 WSOP Events #28 & #29

Event #28, a $3000 No Limit Texas Holdem Tournament was won by Shankar Pillai, taking home the braclet and $527,829. Phil Hellmuth went out 6th, pilling onto his WSOP record Money and Cashes!

Event #29, a $1500 Seven Card Razz tournament was won by Katja Thater, taking home #132,653 and the braclet.

Event #30, a $2,500 No-Limit Texas Holdem - Six Handed tournament is down to the final table of 6, with play resuming today. The players with seat assignments and chip counts are:
Seat No. 1: Terrance Chan - $502,000
Seat No. 2: Alan Sass - $1,217,000
Seat No. 3: William Lin - $736,000
Seat No. 4: James Pittman - $127,000
Seat No. 5: Kelly Vandemheen - $307,000
Seat No. 6: Hoyt Corkins - $1,371,000

Event 31 - a $5000 World Championship Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em tournament is down to 64 players, after a delayed starting time. Play will resume today. Some 'names' still in the hunt include: Toto Leonidas, Roland De Wolfe, Chad Brown, Phil Gordon, Gavin Griffin, Paul Wasicka, Scotty Nguyen, Layne Flack, Tony G, Jennifer Tilly, and Joe Sebok.

Event 32 - a $2000 Seven Card Stud tournament played down to 88 players when play was halted for the night, out of a starting 217. Marcel Luske is among the chip leaders. Play resumes today.

Events #33, a $1500 Pot Limit Omaha w/rebuys tournament, and #34 a $3000 Limit Texas Holdem tournament get underway today!
