August 06, 20062006 WSOP Main Event Day 5They have played down to 135 players in this years main event! They were expecting to play down to 600, but players were dropping like flies so thay just kept on playing! The play for today was originally, to play down to 300! The leader is Jamie Gold with $3,700,000 in chips! It appears that there are very few 'name' pros left in the field to contend for this years prize. Among the pros still in the event are Humberto Brenes, Annie Duke, and Allen Cunningham. Play will resume today at Noon....
