July 06, 2005WSOP Update 7-6John Heneghan Wins the $1000 Texas Holdem No Limit ( w/rebuys ), $2,350,020 Total Prize Pool ( 1584 Rebuys ), 894 Players. The $5000 No Liit Two to Seven Draw Lowball is still going on.... There is one $1000 Satellite scheduled for today, as well as a No Limit Texas Holdem Charity event. Tomorrow the Main Event - $10000 No Limit Texas Holdem tournament kicks off. It looks like the Overall WSOP standings will be decided by this event. Several players still have a real shot at it depending on points earned in the Main Event.... NOthing is announced about how many entries to the main event this year ( Last Year there were 2576 ), but to give you an idea of what they expect, here is the schedule they will use: July 7, Thursday Day 1A, The first 1,000 - 2,200 play down to 500-650 This would indicate they expect 6600 players!
