March 02, 2005Played Some poker last night....Well, the Poker Club is going to be closed this weekend, so we decided to head over last night to see if there were any games going on. Found a dozen like minded members, and we were able to get a couple of 'friendly' games going, for club credits. The son wound up taking a split for first in the first game.. and I split with a friend for first in the second one, so it was a good night! ;-) In the second game, I was down to the felt, and went all in with a couple suited rags... ended up hitting the flop and trippling up! Next hand I get Pocket K's, and double up AGAIN! After winning a couple other medium pots, I called an all in with my A9o, to the short stack's K8o, and hit an ace to take him out.
